Our client is a publically traded company, but has the feel of a startup, and their stock has tripled over the past 5 months. They are trending upwards and it's a great place for talented developers to go right now and make a difference, their team is small and there is lots of room for superstars to perform and be noticed.
They are completely redooing their back end/API, moving from Perl to RoR. Great new design/development project.
Located in downtown LA the ideal candidate should have at least 2+ years of web development experience in a Linux environment. Additionally, this individual should have a background working with high volume, eCommerce, transaction-driven sites. Should have 8 years total development experience, with no less than 1 solid year of focused Ruby on Rails development, along with JSON and strong WebServices.

· Subversion
· Apache configuration
