We're two workaholic guys in Hollywood - co-founders of one of the most important nonprofits in the entertainment industry (film, tv, music) called The Hollywood Hill (www.hhill.org) - who are looking for a third team member for our new venture: Armchair Revolutionary (www.armrev.org), a website that plans to take crowdsourcing, micro-finance, social-networking and video content models to a new level for social activism.

We've been developing the business plan for two years, we've finished the prototype, we're now in beta, and we're looking for an experienced rails (and php) developer to take us from v1.0 to v3.0 (and beyond!).

Now that the economy has collapsed, everyone's stock options are worthless. So if you're turned on by being on the ground floor of a social change start-up that is positioned to be very high-profile right out of the gate, with a very ambitious business plan and an amazing vision to effect change in the world... AND you can deal with a very small salary for the first 6-12 months while we get this puppy off the ground (lodging is included if needed), then give us a shout. We promise nothing but fun, an adrenaline-rush, and a project that will push your potential to the limit.

Our initial development team has gotten us off to a great start, having put together the prototype and beta site. Our two main contributors are (1) a lead architect who works full-time at Yahoo in SF, and (2) a lead interface designer based in Miami. We have a third contributor now coming on board to assist with the mobile app development.

What you can expect:

• A small, tight team where your voice is easily heard and respected.

• A fun and adrenaline-infused work environment

• Exposure to a large rolodex of Hollywood, Washington DC, Silicon Valley and the Nonprofit world

• An amazing vision with extremely high potential for success

If this sounds intriguing, please send us your resume: job+102@railsjobs.in
