Online music distribution startup seeking a freelance Ruby on Rails developer for contracted work. The developer will design and implement back-end development and programming for the website. Developer must show extensive knowledge and experience with Ruby on Rails by providing examples/portfolio of work. Additionally, we are only seeking candidates in or near the Atlanta metropolitan area.

Mavaru is an online music startup based out of Atlanta, GA that will distribute albums using an innovative pricing model. Additionally, our website will provide artists with smart tools for running their business. These tools will include a mix of analytics and fan data as well as services that are relevant to planning profitable geographic tours, building awareness and loyalty, and understanding their target audiences so they can promote themselves effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with eCommerce and transaction processing solutions with micropayments
-Experience with historical data tracking and aggregation
-Ability to cooperate and effectively work with a web design team
-Web server configuration
-Cross browser testing on Windows and Mac web browsers
-Development of content management systems
-Strong communication skills in the English language
