Ruby on Rails Jobs

Inspire Digital is looking for a Sydney-based full-time (contract, with view to permanent) Rails developer to help develop Inspire Digital's web publishing system.

You will be working with a great team on projects that make a real difference, not in a faceless brochureware factory.

We use Scrum to facilitate agile development, and we are committed to best development practice wherever possible.

Required experience:

* Rails 2.2+

* Git

* BDD/TDD, rspec, Cucumber

* Distributed development (we're using Skype, Github, Unfuddle to co-ordinate)

* Intermediate to advanced HTML/CSS/JavaScript

The following experience would be a bonus:

* Linux (Ubuntu) administration

* REST-based development

* Continuous integration (especially CruiseControl.rb)

* Selenium

* jQuery

* Contribution to an open source project

* Knowledge of the Scrum agile development framework
