We need a junior developer (approx. 1 year’s experience with Ruby and Rails) who is not afraid of being given his own project to run, effectively, and has the passion to stretch his/her own skills as well as the concepts developed by his/her team members including the management (oh yes, this management team actually like to be challenged – how refreshing).

You will receive a good starting salary with room to grow as the projects are launched and succeed AND you will get share options in the company too. Couple this with heavily subsidized trips abroad to places like Disneyland Paris and Las Vegas – our company excursions – and you’ll be unlikely to find a better job in the South East of England!

Mac based development environment a MUST

Likes to have fun, join in the office banter, desire to come on the company trips etc.

Desired skills:

a CSS framework like Yahoo’s UI / Grids or YAML.de

Photoshop skills beyond the basics

Experience with a variety of Linux distros

Experience with Capistrano

Experience with a range of useful Gems for easier, advanced functionality in Rails apps

Use of TextMate(!)
