I'm leading a group of MBA students from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington working on a startup concept.
We're working on a project that will address the currently underserved market of Hyper Local Media (initially print) and we are in need of a web application to satisfy a few needs as well as add scalability to our service-centric organization. Ultimately the application will need to perform a number of functions but initially the list is short and the functionallity will be kept simple.
We’re taking a very iterative approach and looking to do thin releases quickly rather than building the ultimate app, so we can work with uncertain or dynamic schedules. As students, we can’t afford to pay right now but we hope to launch this and a few other services fairly quickly to generate revenue which could lead to ongoing work and opportunities etc.
