We are looking for Rails Developer to work on our RoR based platform.

Job Description

This person would be a passionate programmer who loves developing web applications.

•

• Primarily responsible for developing web 2.0 applications

• Work closely with the architect to understand the program specs

• Good understanding of Ruby on Rails framework

• Conduct testing of applications

• Test preparation

• Work closely with senior developer/architect for deployment of code in test and then production systems

Desired Candidate Profile

The candidate would have passion for programming and creating web applications.

•

• Has 3 to 5 years of software development experience, of which 1 to 2 years of experience is on Ruby/RoR framework.

• Programming skills in Ruby/RoR and HTML/DHTML

• Good understanding of Web 2.0

• Other important skills required are; OOAD, OOP, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, JavaScript, XML, Linux, MySQL, IDEs, Testing

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Is a quick learner with desire to explore new technologies(web)

• Having worked in start-up environment will be a plus

• Position is based in Pune

• Compensation negotiable based on past experience and skill set
