Senior Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer – Central

London – Multimedia agency – Salary up to 40k + Excellent benefits package – Immediate Requirement.

We are a central London based Multimedia agency specialising in the design and build or multiple web2.0 sites across multiple industry sectors. Having recently won an award for our innovative high-performance solutions we strive on being the best with technology.

Due to the global demand of our high-performance products we are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer to join our award winning team.

Duties

As a Senior Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer you will join a highly experienced team to develop all new Ruby based applications. We are massive on user friendly sites so you will be in charge of developing your own platform to work from and have the chance to share you architecture with the team. All development is carried out using TDD (Agile) methods with our backend being previously developed in Perl to help the load be more scalable.

This is an opening to deliver high end applications whilst working in a cool office within a dynamic team.

Required Skills:

To be considered you will have extensive knowledge in the following;

- Ruby

- Ruby on Rails

- Agile, TDD or PP exposure

- Testing using RSpec

- MySQL DBA

- Unix

- Linux

- OO Programming
