Ruby on Rails Jobs

We are looking for some help with RoR production...

This would be a long term contract, reporting to a very experienced RoR developer.

- You write HTML and CSS by hand. JavaScript would be nice too.

- You care about writing clean, maintainable code. This means you keep up on best practices,

write DRY code, and keep your CSS and JavaScript out of the markup.

- You will be working in a large Rails application. Ideally you have used Rails before and

know what this means. At the least you should know that you will be writing html

with embedded Ruby and will need to be able to find out where things are

happening in the application with minimum guidance.

- You should know how to work (at least some) from the command line, or at least be not afraid of learning.

- You have a decent design aesthetic. Or you have at least cut up PSDs which

visual designers have provided, to create a nice looking front end.

We will ask to see this later on in the process -- and we will do a view source. :)

- You can follow instructions well and also make good decisions on your own.

We are in north Denver, and you will need to come in to learn, share

and collaborate with us, about once a week.
