Development Full Time:

We are seeking a skilled, driven, and experienced Developer to join our development team. We are a fast paced, company that enables membership based organizations to manage their schedules and communication online. We have a small, energetic team with an intense focus on execution and customer value. Our developers practice agile development methodologies while working in Ruby on Rails.

The Position:

The Developer will be responsible for contributing to the ongoing development of our web applications. This person will be a key player working with the development and executive team in the planning and programming many features critical to existing and new web applications. This Developer is someone that loves to write code, yet has an eye for design. This position will report directly to the Chief Development Officer.

Responsibilities will include:

* Produce high-quality Ruby Code

Adjust backend services as required

Hack out JavaScript

Communicate clearly with customers and staff

Mentor less experienced team members

Respond to other daily challenges as they arise

Required qualifications and skills:

* A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related experience

5 years experience as a developer

At least 2 years experience with Ruby on Rails

SQL experience, preferably with Postgres

Experience with JavaScript and AJAX

The ability to take initiative, solve problems, and communicate effectively

Analytical and quantitative skills

Required Skills:

* A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related experience

5 years experience as a developer

At least 2 years experience with Ruby on Rails

SQL experience, preferably with Postgres

Experience with JavaScript and AJAX

The ability to take initiative, solve problems, and communicate effectively

Analytical and quantitative skills
