I am looking for a talented Ruby on Rails QA Engineer to work in a smart, driven and creative technology environment headquartered in Seattle, WA. This is an entrepreneurial team that works hard, plays hard and is looking for likeminded folks to join this well funded startup.

This is an opportunity to work on a software product that will radically improve business communications! It is an extremely powerful personal relationship management tool that proactively delivers the most important information about key relationships. This product will use complex algorithms to identify key contacts and automatically collect relevant news and web content.

I am looking for a senior quality engineer that can lead the quality initiatives and define the entire testing methodology, testing infrastructure, tools and test processes. This position will be responsible for the definition, implementation and execution of all quality assurance activities. The proper candidate will have a depth of experience and skills with testing both Web based applications and Client based applications (Windows and iPhone). Additionally, the candidate will be familiar with the Agile development and testing model as well as Ruby and Java based build, staging and deployment methods and tools. A familiarity with JavaScript, Java and Ruby programming languages is required. You need to be an individual that can both lead as well as roll up your sleeves and get the job done at any level.

Technical Requirements:

• Extensive QA work experience including leading a team of quality engineers and managing test and release functions.

• Experience performing multi-platform testing including Web based products and Windows client based products. (iPhone testing web and native apps a plus)

• Experience with Agile development and test methodologies

• Ruby on Rails experience

• Java experience

• JavaScript experience

• Extensive Linux/Unix experience
