A pre-launch startup is looking to hire an experienced and strong web developer. You must have expertise and passion for building highly scalable and elegant software.

The following are the specific job requirements:
- 4+ Years of professional software development experience
- Real world experience developing, deploying, and maintaining web apps
- Important to have a strong understanding of computer science rather than any specific language
- Ability to create web applications that work across all platforms and web browsers
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and design
- Proficiency (4+ years) in Ruby on Rails, Javascript, PHP, HTML/CSS
- Strong and effective testing habits (TDD)
- Experience working on a small and rapidly iterating team. We are a rails shop and are culturally infused with principals of "Getting Real"
- Some Unix and MySQL admin experience
- Cognizant of e-commerce conversion optimization principals and leveraging analytics for actionable data a plus
- Familiarity with elements of design, UI, UX
