Web Developer (Senior) with a passion for technology and Open Source (LAMP, Perl, Python, Ruby, MySQL) development sought to join a talented team designing and developing a large, highly scalable and extensible web based system. There are a number of technically challenging projects planned including Attribute based navigation, geo-location searching, replacement of search infrastructure and customer workflow. The emphasis will be on developing quality architecture within a fast paced commercial environment.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, contributing to forums, blogs, user groups etc. You should have extensive dynamic language programmer experience (LAMP) with strong Perl and MySQL development skills and experience developing software in a Linux / Open Source environment. You will be conversant with algorithm complexity and analysis, data structures, design principles and computer architecture. Desirable: dynamic language web application frameworks (e.g. Rails, Catalyst).

You will be working in an informal flat structure, in fabulous river side offices, where everyone contributes and sees the results of their efforts.
