Our client is in urgent need of a web professional to significantly develop our clients online functionality. You will maintain and enhance existing websites and email templates across the UK The role also involves some global development interaction to share technical solutions. This is an opportunity for an ambitious candidate to work within a new digital marketing team of an innovative company. This role therefore has much scope for development. The successful candidate will come from an IT development background and have detailed knowledge and experience with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML. Candidates should be particularly aware of cross-browser development issues. Extensive experience of Ruby on Rails. Bonus skills include PHP, Perl, Java, C#, other MVC frameworks. Ideally you will also have good understanding of SEO principles.
