Working at Sharethrough

We practice lean startup methodologies like agile development and customer development.

We always develop in pairs, BDD/TDD all of our code and make sure the CI screen remains green.

We love clean code, refactoring things that just don't smell right and intelligently using cutting edge technologies like MongoDB and node.js to make our code/stack more elegant.

Requirements

You must strive in team environments and love teaching/mentoring your peers.

You not only care about how things are built, but also figuring out why you are building it.

You see yourself as a generalist, not someone who wants to be narrowly focused on one speciality.

You either have experience with or have a strong interest in learning Ruby on Rails

You want to not only better the company, but the overall development process and your personal skills.

1+ years of Rails or comparable framework, TDD, and pairing experience in a commercial setting.

A strong foundation in computer science and/or math combined with demonstrable problem solving aptitude helps too.

HTML/ CSS/ Javascript experience
