GAIN Fitness is a web and mobile startup company that aims to revolutionize the way people work out and integrate fitness into their daily lives. We've developed patent-pending algorithms that use exercise science to optimize workouts based on an individual's body, fitness goals and resources.

Founded by an ex-Googler and a Fulbright Scholar/certified personal trainer, our current team includes Picasa’s original designer and some very talented software engineers and new media marketers. We’ve got an office on Market St. in downtown San Francisco and are supported by angel funding.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- 2+ years software engineering experience

- Ruby on Rails experience

- Javascript, CSS/HTML, JQuery experience

- Fast/agile development

- Passionate about health/fitness

- Machine-learning experience a PLUS

We're using: RoR, Aptana IDE, Heroku, GitHub, Javascript and JQuery, MySQL DB.
