Ruby on Rails Jobs

EnTrip is looking for creative and talented software engineers to help build the EnTrip site. Engineers interested in this role should be experienced at building scalable, high-performance, secure object-oriented web applications in Ruby on Rails (currently we do not offer any opportunities for PHP developers).

This is a full-time position in Pune, India, starting in mid May 2008. Upon successful assignment, candidates will have the opportunity to become a permanent member of our development team in the US or UK.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:

- University level education in Computer Science

- Working knowledge of developing scalable web systems

- Experience with server-side web frameworks, especially LAMP and Ruby on Rails

- Interest in code optimization, advanced caching methods or database call optimization

- Solid problem solving skills and passion for elegant solutions
