Responsibilities

•Implements interface, business logic and data structure based on requirements, architecture and design.

•Review/Re-factor code to improve performance, enhances readability, and maintains system integrity

•Implement and test solutions to immediate operations, business, and infrastructure problems

•Deploy, scale, and maintain applications

•Takes self-initiative and implements/maintains customer requirements at a high quality level

•Deals with changing requirements/goals. Work in fast paced startup environment

Required Skills.

•Candidates with BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/BSc IT will be preferred.

•4-6 years of experience in developing web application

•Experience using Ruby (on Rails) in a time-sensitive, production setting. JRuby is an added advantage.

•Solid Javascript skills, you'll need to know about Web Technologies like: HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON, & JS Frameworks (jQuery, etc.)

•Familiarity with version control systems

Experience provisioning and setting up a LAMP stack

•Experience writing unit and functional tests( Test Driven Development).

•Working knowledge of web and application servers (preferably Tomcat)

•Deep grasp of design patterns

•Up-to-date with cutting edge technologies

•Strong Object Oriented design skills

•Good communication skills
