Ruby on Rails Jobs

** This position is only open to students who are returning to school in university / college in the fall.

We are currently looking for a web developer to work with our core team in launching our flagship product. There will be weekly technical and entrepreneurial mentoring as well as opportunities to grow in experience and roles in a number of ways during these early stages of our startup.

The below skillsets would all be assets

- Experience with Ruby on Rails web application framework

- Ability to learn quickly and work with web APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Google, IndexTank, etc.).

- UX/UI design experience -- ability to translate PSDs to CSS3/HTML5

- Work with and create original designs and eye-candy -- typography, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

- Experience with Javascript & AJAX would be highly valuable, especially Javascript libraries (jQuery)

- Experience with developing mobile apps on Android and/or iOS. You will be using our custom web API.

- You will provide feedback and be a part of the API design team.

- Knowledge of XML, HTTP, and web services (specifically REST)
