We are looking for an experienced rails developer to help us with building a web application that will accompany a mobile application we are currently developing. The job will require that you work from home for the duration of the project.
You will be helping to build a highly-interactive web application that does a lot of useful things with mobile phones. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who
feels at home implementing web application frontends.
Ideally we’re looking for somebody with an aptitude for design, a strong focus on frontend implementation, and the ability to play nicely with the backend.
What you need:
- Strong understanding of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of general web backend concepts
- Good eye for design
- Ability to create usable and beautiful web interfaces
- Understanding of web security concepts such as SQL injections, XSS, CSRF, etc.
- Experience deploying and launching real-world applications
- Ruby + Rails development experience
